How to create a brand video with AI in 5 scenes
Brand videos don't have to be expensive or complex. With a consistent character, a clear story arc, and AI tools for image generation and animation, you can produce a polished short video that tells your brand's story — scene by scene.
This guide walks through a complete 5-scene brand video structure, including image prompts and animation prompts for each transition.
Start with a character reference image
Before anything else, create or upload a reference image for your main character. This image becomes the visual anchor for every scene — it locks in the cartoon style, line art, colors, and personality.
For this example, we're using a neighborhood craftsman: a friendly, slightly puzzled cartoon figure who discovers an online poster creation tool and transforms his small business with it.
Every image prompt in this guide starts with:
"Use the uploaded reference image. Maintain exact cartoon style, line art, and colors."
This is the most important line. Without it, AI image generators will drift between scenes and your video will look inconsistent.
Intro frame: set the scene
Story beat: The craftsman sits at a table with a laptop — curious, slightly puzzled.
Image prompt:
Use the uploaded reference image of the neighborhood craftsman. Keep exactly the same cartoon style, line art, and colors. Show him sitting at a table using a laptop, curious and slightly puzzled expression. Background: cozy workshop or home studio, soft lighting, playful cartoon style.
This frame establishes who your character is and where they are before the journey begins. Keep the background simple and warm.
Scene 1: The discovery
Story beat: He sees the app for the first time — amazement replaces confusion.

Putting it all together
Once you have your 5 scene images and 5 animation clips, assemble them in order:
- Generate each scene image using your reference character
- Feed each image into Kling with the corresponding animation prompt
- Export the clips and stitch them together in sequence
- Add music and captions to finish
Total video length: around 8–12 seconds at 1–2s per transition — perfect for Reels, TikTok, or Stories.
The key to making it work is never changing the character reference. Same image, same prompt prefix, same style — every single scene. That consistency is what makes a slideshow feel like a story.
